05/01/2009 Boxing Day was busiest online day
Research from Experian company Hitwise revealed that Boxing Day was the busiest day for online retailers during 2008, however online traffic was 4.9% lower compared to the same period in 2007.
According to Hitwise, Boxing Day traffic was 16.2% higher than the second busiest day of the year which was Sunday, 20 November.
