27/04/2009 PEFC responsible timber procurement seminar

The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) has announced that it is to hold a free seminar, entitled, “Responsible Timber Procurement-Good for Business and the Environment.”

The seminar, which is designed to provide a better understanding of Chain of Custody and certification issues for those manufacturing and trading in wood products, is to be held on Tuesday, 12 May at the Carisbrooke Hall at the Victory Services Club.

Sponsored by multi-sector certification body, BM Trada Certification, the seminar will begin at 1pm and speakers at the event include Peter Latham, Chairman-PEFC UK, Alun Watkins-Furniture Industry Association, Sofie Tind Neilson-ProForest and Alasdair McGregor-BM Trada.
