Lancashire-based bed and furniture manufacturer Sweet Dreams has welcomed a new sales agent for the North East, following the retirement of Malcolm Wills from the role.
Ian Stewart (pictured) will now take over responsilibity for sales in the area, bringing with him over 40 years of experience from working for company’s including House of Fraser, Newbridge Street Bedding Centre and Sealy UK.
With a number of success stories under his belt including tripling turnover at wholesaler Julian Bowen and quadrupling turnover at West-Midlands-based upholstery company LPK.
He commented: “I am absolutely delighted to join Sweet Dreams which has a fantastic infrastructure in place and a phenomenal product mix. I have big ambitions for the turnover in my North East region.”
Meanwhile, Sweet Dreams is also celebrating the internal promotion of Nick Williams, who was made Sales Manager at the business earlier this year after three years with the company.
Nick will now be responsible for all aspects of sales in the UK, including chains and groups, while also assuming responsibility for developing new business opportunities across multi-channel markets.
