Family run furniture business Prestige has confirmed the appointment of Sallyann Lilley as a new company director. Sallyann officially joined the firm on 2 June 2016 and joins current director Robert Lowes Ash on the board. Newton-based Prestige posted a sales fall by 10.5% to £1.7m in its latest accounts for the year ended 28 February 2015, but maintained its profit growth, up by 5.1% to £166,503 for the period.
Seven-store home furnishings retailer Susie Watson Designs has confirmed the appointment of James Salkeld as its new business executive. James joined the company at the start of the year on 2 January 2016, and also sits on the board of Here And Now Healthcare Ltd. London-based Susie Watson Designs is a subsidiary of Town and Country Limited, which is owned by Susan and Hamish Watson.
Independent flooring and carpet retailer Bedale Flooring has confirmed the appointment of Natalie Robson as its new creative director. Natalie was appointed on 1 January 2016 and joins founding director David Robson on the board. Bedale Flooring was established two years ago and is based in Bedale, North Yorkshire.
Dundee-based furniture manufacturer Dovetail Enterprises has confirmed four new directorial appointments, with two exiting the business. Sonya Locherty, Robert Duncan, Kenneth Lang and Kirk Dailly have all joined the board in recent months, while Graig Melville and William Meiklejohn have departed. Dovetail reported a 22.2% growth in revenue to £3.3m in its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 March 2015.
