Independent bed retailer Land of Beds has revealed how embracing the Euros has had a positive impact on business performance, both through sales and staff productivity.
Cheshire-based Land of Beds has recently launched its TV beds ranges that coincide with the European Football Championships, which are currently underway in France, as well as offering a series of competitions for its customers to get involved in, including a chance to win a free England replica football home shirt.
Michelle Ewen, digital marketing manager, Land of Beds, said: “We are huge supporters of sports, which play an important role in taking a holistic approach to enjoying a good night's sleep. Our workplace rotas have been organised to give those who wish to follow the Euros the opportunity to do so.
“Being located close to the Welsh border, we have colleagues who support both England and Wales. We have therefore arranged to get together in the board room at our new showroom in Frodsham and watch Thursday's match as a team.
“In the interests of camaraderie and team-building, which we are so proud to champion, we have encouraged our staff to join us in their national football shirts and get involved in the spirit of the game. We wish both England and Wales all the best for what is sure to be a fantastic match!
"Throughout the Euros, we will be supporting our customers to enjoy the games in comfort by offering TV beds by suppliers such as Kaydian, with free 24-hour delivery. We have also given away an England home shirt to one lucky fan, as part of a popular Facebook competition ran in conjunction with Slumberland.”
