Office furniture specialist DAMS has announced that it has recently expanded its upholstery production plant, with the launch of its newest range benefitting from the investment.

DAMS have seen its upholstery manufacturing capabilities grow by 50%, increasing its factory from 30,000sq ft to 45,000sq ft, as well as investing in new equipment and additional personnel, including specialist upholsterers and product designers, to manufacture the extended portfolio and keep pace with demand.

To mark the expansion, DAMS have launched a new ‘Social Spaces’ range of soft seating for breakout areas within commercial environments, specifically designed to address contemporary interiors trends and progressive working practices.

Chris Scott, managing director of DAMS, said: “We have already invested significantly across the range to develop products that address the need for increased collaborative, smart and flexible working.

“Our Social Spaces range builds on that market focus and our proven track record of high quality, made to order upholstered items. It offers a co-ordinated, modular approach to furnishing break out spaces, informal meeting areas, receptions, creative spaces and dining facilities.”
