Corporate law firm Fox Williams has announced that it will be holding its annual agent law seminar at its offices in Finsbury Square, London.
Taking place on 9 November 2016, the seminar will discuss a variety of issues including the don’ts and possible dos of fixing prices, house accounts and taking back customers from agents and distributors, as well as a talk from guest speaker Oliver Segal QC.
Oliver will be considering, “Repudiatory breach in agency contracts – why should principals and agents be concerned?”.
The talks will consider issues which arose in Alan Ramsay Sales & Marketing Ltd v Typhoo Tea Ltd and The Software Incubator Limited v Computer Associates Limited, two of this year’s judgments involving the Commercial Agents Regulations and in which both Fox Williams and Oliver Segal QC were involved.
Registration will commence at 6pm, with the event concluding around 8:30pm.
