Modern furniture design and manufacturer Arper has confirmed that Claudio Feltrin has been appointed as its new chairman.
Starting from April 2016, Claudio succeeds the role from his father and founder, Luigi Feltrin, who has taken up an honorary chairmanship at company, whilst Claudio also remains in his current position of CEO.
Giulio Feltrin, Claudio’s second son, is currently the global showroom manager with his integration into the company further confirming Arper’s will to ensure continuity in its entrepreneurial project.
Claudio Feltrin said: “We have always considered ourselves first and foremost as a family facing challenges together. My father is still a driving force, encouraging us to never stop evolving. Arper’s goals today are also the result of his determination, and we will continue to work side by side leading the company into the future.”
Arper has seen sales increase from €5m in 2000 to €67m in 2015 and has 11 showrooms in major cities including Milan, London, Cologne, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Oslo, Copenhagen, New York, Chicago, and Dubai, in addition to its in-house showroom at its headquarters in Treviso.
The company outlined that a concrete plan for further development on a global scale is currently being ‘finalised’.
