Office furniture design and manufacturer Gresham has revealed that it is set to achieve record turnover in the year it celebrates its 40th anniversary.
Bolton-based Gresham, which has been established since 1976 and operates out of its 180,000sq ft facility in Horwich, has seen sales rise by 8% in the last 12 months to a record turnover of £30m.
As part of its birthday celebrations, the company has commissioned significant investments to support the launch of its Gresham Design Collection – a collaboration with some of the UK’s best product designers, as well as developing new markets for its Gresham Bespoke service.
Gresham has also invested £1.4m in its production plant in the form of state-of-the-art equipment to improve quality and processes, and in the acquisition of an adjacent site at Platinum Park, which will allow for further expansion over the next few years.
Julian Roebuck, Gresham’s managing director, said: “We are incredibly proud of our Northern roots and this is cemented by the continued investment in our Bolton HQ.
“Our showroom is currently undergoing a refurbishment to improve the overall visitor experience and we look forward to welcoming colleagues, industry partners and clients to the new space for some birthday cake very soon!”
