The London Design Fair has been heralded as a great success in its place at the 2016 London Design Festival, with organisers calling it the festival best in show.
Figures released reveal a total attendance of 27,141, 74% of which was trade and 56% of which was international – a 30% increase in visitors on last year. In addition, the time spent at the show was said to have increased by 30%.
In a statement Jimmy MacDonald, founder & director, London Design Fair said: “London now has a Fair which is internationally recognised for its diversity and quality of content. This has been our aim for the last 10 years and I’m delighted to say that we have delivered. The addition of a 3rd new floor, new clear umbrella brand, introduction of trade only days, strategic partnership with Decorex
“International all contributed to our clarity of purpose and saw trade visitor numbers jump by 23% as a result. We have further exciting plans for 2017 which will be revealed over the coming months.”
The London Design Fair will return to the Old Truman Brewery from 21-24 September 2017.
