The owner of bed specialist Dreams, Sun European Partners, has revealed it is considering a £400m sale of the Dreams business.

According to reports in The Times, which didn’t disclose sources of the proposed plans, the investment firm, Sun European Partners had said that a sale was being lined up for the whole business – and its 180 nationwide store chain, three years on after its acquisition of the company.

In 2013, Sun European Partners saved Dreams from administration, saving around 1,600 jobs, after it acquired the business from Exponent – who had bought the company for around £200m back in 2008.
