Independent antique furniture business Former Glory Furniture is celebrating its first year of trading with a special charity auction to raise money for the Devon Air Ambulance.

Former Glory Furniture, which is based in Totnes in Devon, will host the event on 1 July 2016 and will be led by celebrity auctioneer Marc Allum, well known as an expert on BBC Antiques Roadshow.

The company, which is owned by Naomi Cunningham and Sam White, will auction off a variety of lots from donations made by local businesses with all proceeds going to the Devon Air Ambulance.

Caroline Creer, Devon Air Ambulance's fundraising director, said: “We are so grateful for the support of all the communities and businesses in Devon and this event really demonstrates a brilliant cohesion.”
