An independent bespoke furniture maker has announced the launch of a series of workshops to mark its new showroom setting.
West Yorkshire-based Handmade has recently moved into its new premises in Steeton and has decided to offer five weekend workshops to tutor students on the skills to create bespoke upholstered furniture.
Owned by Anthony Corns, the first session takes place over 20-21 August 2016, with the rest of the once-a-month weekend workshops available until early December.
Commenting on the workshops, Anthony said via Handmade’s website: “I can guide you step by step through the techniques to produce beautiful and unique items for your home. For these weekends you will need to bring your fabrics and trimming and the small piece of furniture you wish to complete.”
