French furniture brand Gautier has announced the opening of its 109th store in London.

The new store is situated on King’s Road in Chelsea and officially opened on 30 June 2016 with a celebratory event.

The launch adds to other recent openings in France, with new stores in Clermont-Ferrand, Metz and Tarbes, as well as the most recent French opening in St-Etienne on 12 July.

Other investments so far this year include the inauguration of a Gautier store in Manilla, in the Philippines, back on 17 March, while also launching a new transactional website at the start of 2016.

Gautier launched a new version of its website offering that includes an ecommerce store for France and the UK, following on from its last online update three years ago.

Founded in 1960 by Patrice Gautier and his wife Annick, the company took to social media to thank everyone that attended the special Chelsea launch, marking another milestone within its history.
