Family interiors business Pine-Apple Interiors has confirmed its expansion with the opening of two new shops in Hull.
The company, which has been in its original store on Beverley Road for 34 years, has opened its second outlet in Spring Bank West, which officially launches on 11 June 2016.
The other new store, bringing its portfolio to three and with a planned opening for February 2017, will be based in the former Fruit Market area, taking up two units, which is currently undergoing a major £80m revamp project.
Diane Todd, owner of Pine-Apple, spoke to the Hull Daily Mail: “We're really excited. We've never traded in this part of Hull before and people have been really friendly and have been excited for us being here.
"It's only a small shop (the one on Spring Bank West), but it's been really well received. We're going to be doing much more contemporary items in the new shop, like the more shabby chic stuff."
Pine-Apple features a variety of furniture, antiques and soft furnishings, and is also decided to refurbish its current site, with plans to expand further throughout the city in the future.
