Area Sales Manager – Alstons
Located in Colchester in the county of Essex, Alstons are one of the largest Sofa manufacturers in the UK, serving premium independent retailers.
Alstons have an exciting opportunity for a talented and creative Area Sales Manager to join their team to manage the North East and East of England area.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual, who will be responsible for developing and managing key accounts and to help the business develop opportunities with new customers.
This is a key role within the business, driven by the growing level of turnover from both established customers and new accounts. The role will involve meeting customers off site, visiting major furniture shows, selling in new models to customers and retail monitoring.
The Ideal Candidate:
- This role would suit an established highly self-motivated, confident individual, with at least 2 years experience. The successful candidate will be able to present, communicate at all levels and confidently represent the company to key customers.
- Will be able to manage, grow and build solid relationships with key customers.
- Have experience in confidently presenting new models to suit each individual customer.
- An in-depth market and product knowledge would be beneficial.
- Outstanding communication skills with experience in account managing for product launches and reviews of exisiting customers to identify potential sales growth.
- Will be driven and able to build relationships and connect with a variety of personalities.
- Driving Licence (required).
