Independent bed retailer Land of Beds has announced that it sponsored the Rotary Club’s Cheshire Motor Show to promote sleep-related driving safety.
The event took place on 31 July 2016 at the Frodsham Community Centre where Land of Beds spoke to hundreds of showgoers about the importance of getting a good night’s sleep before venturing out on the roads.
Land of Beds also challenged over 100 attendees to guess how many springs a Relyon mattress contained, with the winner to be announced later this week.
Mike Murray – Managing Director at Land of Beds, said: “August is National Road Victim Month and RAC Foundation research shows that around 20% of accidents on major roads are sleep-related; such accidents are more likely to result in a fatality, or major injury.
“The Cheshire Motor Show was a great opportunity for our Sleep Experts to engage local people in conversation about how to improve their sleep quality and how to be a responsible road user, as well as to admire the fantastic vehicles on display!”
