Online furniture brand MADE.com has announced the official launch of its Paris showroom.

The new 840m2 space builds on the businesses international success, with overseas markets now generating 40% of sales, while also expanding its European portfolio, adding to its existing presence in the UK - London, Leeds and Liverpool, Amsterdam and Milan.

Situated on Rue Etienne Marcel, near the Louvre, the new showroom is spread over two levels and incorporates its test and touch initiative where customers can collate and save information on items of interest through the use of Cloud Tag technology and complete their order online in the showroom, or later at home.

Ning Li, founder and CEO of MADE said: “MADE and the senior team have deep roots in France and as such Paris was the natural choice to open our largest and first flagship showroom outside of the UK. It was in France that the idea of MADE was first conceived. Not only was France our first overseas market to launch in, back in 2013, but it remains today our largest market after the UK.

“We remain focused on extending our product range, building brand awareness and loyalty across our five markets, which combined are worth £100bn. Our model of fusing online sales with the creative use of physical space in key markets to showcase our growing product range is proven, with France being the next stage in our plan.”
