Failsworth-based independent home furnishing retailer Housing Units has announced the appointment of two new senior directors.

Housing Units, which is fast approaching its 70 year milestone, confirmed that Stewart Smith has been appointed as its new retail director, whilst Alison Hartley takes up the newly created role of multi-channel director.

Stewart joins with 18 years retail experience having previously worked with Marks & Spencer, and Alison comes into the new position with a wealth of international e-commerce knowledge from previous roles including global strategic development manager for the nursery retailer Mamas & Papas, and more recently product owner & business advisor at Walmart for
