Sheffield-based kitchen manufacturer The Manor Cabinet Company has reported an increase in both turnover and profit in its latest trading update for the nine months from 28 March 2015 to 31 December 2015.

Total sales for the period under review grew to £7.7m, while an overall profit resulted in £125,275, as margins returned to ‘normal’ levels following its 4% drop last year.

The Manor Cabinet Company was recently acquired by bedroom furniture specialist Home Décor (see related) as the company continues to grow, which revealed ‘record’ forecasts for the trading year ahead.

Commenting within its strategic report, Manor Cabinet said: “The company is currently facing record projections for the first quarter and we see no reason why 2016 will not be one of our most successful years.

“We plan to continue our programme of controlled growth in the contract market and additional retail showrooms.”

Home Décor completed its acquisition of The Manor Cabinet Company at the beginning of June 2016, after the latest approved filed accounts, which dated April 2016.
