West Yorkshire-based bed manufacturer Dura Beds has reported a growth in turnover for a third successive year, as the business continued its expansion of its site.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 November 2015, Dura Beds registered a 22.4% uptick in sales to £13.2m from £10.8m last year.
Gross profit also experienced an increase by 44.9% to £2.9m from £2m, whilst pre-tax profit more than doubled to £1.3m from £495,812 in 2015.
Highlighted within its report, Dura Beds said that the company continued to invest in larger purpose built premises during the period.
Adding to the expansion, Dura Beds recently completed the acquisition of the former Layezee Beds site in Batley on Soothill Lane.
