Renray has posted a fourth consecutive year of turnover growth
Healthcare furniture specialist Renray has posted a fourth consecutive year of turnover growth as sales return past the £14m threshold.
According to Renray Holdings Limited’s latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2015, total sales rose 4.3% to £14.4m from £13.8m in 2014 – its first time turnover had surpassed the £14m mark since 2008 when the company achieved £14.3m.
Gross profit also experienced an uptick of 11.3% to £4.9m from £4.4m, whilst operating profit grew to over £1m. Pre-tax profit resulted in £982,343, 34.1% up from £732,582 recorded last year.
Stated within its filed report, the company said that new product offerings and operational changes were key factors into making 2015 a successful year, although confirmed that turnover in 2016 is expected to decline due to a ‘reduction in the number of new builds and tighter capital expenditure from the industry’.
Foreseeing that 2017 and 2018 will be back to good years, Renray said it remains committed to investment in capital expenditure, with in excess of £0.6m already spent over the last three years.
Renray, which has been established for over 45 years, produces and supplies furniture to the healthcare sector with its headquarters based in Winsford, Cheshire.
