North East-based furniture manufacturer Godfrey Syrett has secured a hat-trick of new national contracts worth more than £2.2m.
Godfrey Syrett has won contracts to provide furniture for construction company Skanska, the University of the West of England and Lyreco, a worldwide distributor of workplace products.
The Durham and Newcastle-based business will supply accommodation furniture to a multi-million pound purpose-built military training centre in Worthy Down, Winchester, which will see the relocation of much of the Defence College of Logistics, Policing and Administration to the site.
The University contract is part od UWE’s new £50m building, where Godfrey Syrett will furnish the property, whilst the final project will see the firm furnish the entire 197,000sqft Lyreco building with a variety of workstations, seating, desks and benches from its portfolio as well as bespoke meeting tables and storage.
