Indigo Furniture, the Matlock, Derbyshire-based retailer and manufacturer, has officially opened its new showroom in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
Celebrating the milestone, Indigo Furniture marked the launch with a ribbon-cutting event on 1 October 2016, with Tunbridge Wells Mayor Dave Neve joining Indigo directors Miles Gregory and David Castle to do the honours.
Situated on Calverley Road, the showroom holds an edited collection of key pieces; curated by creative director, Abigail List, which are all designed by Indigo’s creative team and handmade in Indigo’s workshops.
Collections include vintage inspired leather sofas and armchairs, as well as handcrafted dining tables, chairs and storage pieces such as cupboards and wardrobes in solid oak and pine.
Indigo confirmed that Andrew Norris will be supervising the new showroom and said: “The passion and enthusiasm within the company excited me and I was overjoyed when offered the position.
“The corner aspect of the new showroom which crosses Calverley and Camden Road is getting a lot of attention, particularly with the eye-catching chandeliers, eight foot oak table and imposing four poster bed in the window, we’re looking forward to a busy Autumn Sale.”
