Breasley Consumer Products tells Cabinet Maker how it will have twice the fun at the NBF Bed Show.
This year’s NBF Bed Show will see Breasley Consumer exhibiting on not one but two adjacent stands in Hall 2. Stand F40 will be dedicated to the Salus Contempo and Bionix Collections whilst F50 will host the YOU boxed mattress collection alongside the launch of the new Breasley ‘Uno’ vacuum packed mattress range.
The company chose the 2016 Bed Show to showcase the Uno collection for which the full range will be on display. It also marks the next generation of vacuum packed mattresses, which is set to replace the existing ranges, so it is a very exciting time for Breasley and its retail partners. Managing director, Stuart Hibbert, told us:
“Having spent 11 years innovating and developing the vacuum packed market, we are confident that we now have the definitive range of mattresses, honed from our extensive manufacturing experience and the fact that we have now sold over a million rolled mattresses.”
The collection of 10 models includes the latest technology in springs and comfort fillings, plus Breasley’s unique ergonomic profiling. Each model also has the added benefit of specialist cover finishes such as Adaptive® and Fresche® which is recognised as one of the world’s most advanced non-volatile antimicrobial treatments, providing long term protection against bacterial and fungal attack. From the Uno Junior entry level mattress to the Uno Memory Pocket 2000, each model has a USP to offer and quality guaranteed.
Said Stuart: “Each mattress going through our factory is RFID tagged, so it has full traceability, which is another reason to buy from Breasley – we are a no risk supplier. Plus we are ethically audited. And, the icing on the cake for our customers is that we are so confident in our new Uno Collection that we are offering an amazing 10 year guarantee!”
The Uno range will be available on next day DHD and retailers can also take advantage of free in store POS including a free mattress stand which holds 9 mattresses, plus supporting imagery for their websites. In addition, the company’s YOU Collection, which was launched at last year’s Bed Show, is said to be unique from all other boxed mattresses currently on the market. It offers a choice of ten models featuring high grade foam, Viscoool and latex, plus, the exclusive ‘ConiCoil’ pocket springs means it is not a ‘one mattress fits all’ product.
“Each of our YOU mattresses - from single to superking – will fit in the same size branded box which is just over a metre high. The size is critical in order to conform to the standards set by our carriers for ease of transport and to be competitively priced, which means we are then able to pass on the savings to our customers. With next day delivery to store or DHD and a free 100 night’s sleep trial offer, it’s every retailer’s opportunity to compete in the hugely successful and fast growing boxed mattress market, where most of the e-commerce sites are aiming in particular at the ‘Millennials’ who are likely to be more interested in price and an instant purchase which will arrive on their doorstep in a matter of hours, let alone days!”
Following the successful launch of the Salus Contempo bed collection earlier this year, the full range will be at the NBF Bed Show. Stuart explained: “Contempo encompasses medi-foam®, Viscoool and latex and up to a sumptuous 5000 pocket spring count plus Tencel® fibre technology throughout, and it is our most luxurious Salus collection to date. Plus we have added new colours to our range of divan fabrics, which have been very well received. The volume of sales and floor models has exceeded our initial forecast, so we see the range going from strength to strength. On the back of this, we have launched a brand new Salus website for our retail partners and where consumers can find their local stockist at a click of a button.”
The Salus stand will also have space dedicated to the Salus Bionix motion drive Duo and Quattro Collection designed with Breasley’s exclusive motion drive technology. The drive system is built into the actual mattress itself and not the divan base, allowing Bionix to be used on a range of bed frames. Exclusive to the UK, the collection is a hybrid of German engineering and Breasley contemporary design.
“This fantastic lifestyle product has a choice of two or four motors and Viscoool or Latex as a comfort layer; Bionix is the ultimate in luxury and will revolutionise your sleep and relaxation time.” concludes Stuart.
