Forte furniture

Polish furniture manufacturer Forte Furniture has reported a third quarter growth across all its markets as it plans to invest 700m Polish Zloty over the next few years.

According to its latest Q3 results, Forte saw revenues rise by 9.3% to zł244.9m (£47.5m), with net profit for the period up by 21.1% to zł28.3m (£5.4m).

Forte, which specialises in the manufacture of self-assembly furniture out of its base in Ostrów Mazowiecka, experienced a sales growth across all of its markets, with revenues up by 17.6% in its core market of Poland, 19.6% in Western and Northern Europe, and 9.8% covering Central, South and Eastern Europe, including the UK.

The company has also disclosed expansion plans running until 2021, which will see Forte launch a new chipboard factory by Q1 2018, a new furniture factory by Q1 2019, and the gradual expansion of its warehouse capacity beginning next year, costing zł700m (£136m).
