Balmoral Furniture, the trading name of County Antrim headquartered furniture and beds supply business Moffett & Sons, has reported a double digit rise in turnover as sales surpassed £10m.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 March 2016, total sales rocketed by 30% to £10.3m from £7.9m in 2015, marking a consecutive double digit year-on-year growth in revenues.
Balmoral also grew its pre-tax profit by 357.8% to £641,218 from £140,525 recorded last year, its highest profit in a decade.
The company stated within its report that it refocused its approach within its markets, as well as identifying new opportunities, alongside revamping its website and revising its marketing procedures to further promote the business.
Established in 1946, the family run business said it saw sales in its Republic of Ireland sector marginally fall, but reported an increase in both domestic and contract based sales within its core markets of Northern Ireland and Great Britain.
