Industry group Minerva Furnishers Guild has revealed that its latest Spring Show has been a success, with the experiment of the new Stoneleigh venue proving to be equally successful.
The Minerva Spring Show took place at the National Agriculture & Exhibition Centre at Stoneleigh in Warwickshire on 17-18 May 2016, and was attended by record member numbers, where a large number of its credited suppliers who exhibited reported a high order intake.
The ‘Best Stand’ award went to Wood Bros, with Malcolm Nix being presented the accolade by Minerva.
Its members supported the private event by a vote to remain at Stoneleigh for the next year’s Spring Show, which will take place on 16-17 May 2017.
Derek Hayes, a founder member of Minerva and owner of TR Hayes in Bath, commented to Cabinet Maker: “This show was the first Spring Show that we have held in Stoneleigh, and it was a trail to see whether the members preferred this site for our spring exhibition.
“Following a vote, they confirmed that they were very happy with the exhibition, central location and accommodation, which was attended by a record number of our members.”
Moving on from the success of the Spring Show, Minerva has now turned its attentions to its Autumn Show, which will be held at the usual venue, the International Centre in Telford on 11-12 October 2016.
