Furniture Industry Research Association (FIRA) has revealed that Heico Fasteners UK Ltd has been awarded the FIRA Gold Product Certification for their new non-rust range of ‘Blacquer’ Zig-Zag Springs. Heico was awarded the accolade for its new range of furniture springs that use the science of nano technology to produce a fully coated spring that achieves unrivalled corrosion resistance.

Kent-based furniture and home furnishings group Gallery Direct has announced that it has helped refurbish three iconic buildings across the UK by installing individual furniture specifications.
The Muchrach Country House Hotel, based in the Scottish Highlands near Aviemore, the Down Hall Hotel, located in Hatfield Heath near Bishop’s Stortford, and Catthorpe Manor Hotel in Leicestershire all underwent major refurbishing projects, in which Gallery Direct designed and supplied furniture to suit each build.
Organisers of French trade event Espritmeuble has announced its 5th staging to be held from 3 - 6 December 2016 at Paris Porte de Versailles. Six months before it opens its doors, ESPRITMEUBLE has already recorded reservations for 95% of its surface area, across 300 brands, including returning and new names. The aim of this year’s fair is to increase both the number of decision makers and the visiting time in its aisles to a minimum of two days.
The event will also host ‘The Services Village’, run by thirty exhibitors specialising in service, will be at the heart of the Trade Fair. For four days this space will be entirely devoted to service providers and value creating solutions.
