Yorkshire furniture retailer Barker and Stonehouse has announced that it plans to open a new store in Brighton and Hove.
The new 35,000sq ft showroom will see the company invest almost £1m into the expansion, which also sees the business grow its presence into the South of England.
Featuring a mix of products, the new venture aims to offer its customers an exciting environment in which to shop, with the area also benefiting from the 25 jobs it will create.
James Barker, managing director at Barker and Stonehouse, commented to the Northern Echo: “Our plans to expand into the South-East are really taking shape.
“We have built up a loyal following at each of our stores due to the wide choice of quality products and the excellent customer service.”
Established in 1946, Barker and Stonehouse recently received permission to build a new showroom in Guildford, Surrey, on the site of an old fire station.
