Outdoor leisure furniture manufacturer Barlow Tyrie has posted a second successive growth in turnover, while also increasing its profit.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 September 2015, total sales rose by 8.5% to £5.1m from £4.7m in 2014.
Gross profit also experienced an uptick of 12.4% to £1.8m from £1.6m, while operating profit improved by 23.9% to £393,942 from £317,403 last year.
The Braintree-based business posted an overall profit of £288,586 for the year, an increase of 27.4% from its profit of £226,581 recorded in 2014.
Family business, Barlow Tyrie, which specialises in teak furniture, has been established since 1920 and operates worldwide with seven dedicated websites in the UK, USA, Holland, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
