Independent furniture retailer Smithers of Stamford is set bring his online business to Peterborough by hosting a pop-up shop.

The company, which specialises in eclectic home furnishings – mainly from India, plans to host the event on 4-5 June 2016 at the Church Farmhouse in Etton.

In light of the event, Smithers of Stamford founder, Nick Smith, thought it was an ideal time as it coincides with the BBC ‘Money for Nothing’ programme, a TV show he has been invited to take part in.

Commenting on the pop-up venture, Nick said: “This will be a great opportunity to see some of our amazing products that aren’t even available on the website and possibly make a Money for Nothing purchase on any remaining products.

“We hope you will feel extremely welcome to join us at our Smithers pop up shop Barn Sale.”

Smithers of Stamford has been established for three years and has rapidly grown via its website and its expanding social media presence.

Nick added: “The website has attracted a lot of attention and the business has grown a lot in the past three years.”
