Furniture supplier Living Online Limited has expanded its business by beginning to export into Europe.
Living Online, trading as My Furniture, secured a £1.7m loan from Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, as well as relocating to a new 154,000sq ft warehouse in Sandiacre, increasing its facility capacity by more than 120,000sq ft.
Due to the expansion, which also includes growing its product line, Living Online has turned its attentions to exporting its furniture to customers in France, Sweden and Germany.
The loan was part of Lloyds Bank’s support of the government’s ‘Exporting is GREAT’ campaign, which aims to help businesses export for the first time, and went towards the purchase of the £3m premises.
The new site has allowed the business to streamline its operations, and is expected to boost turnover by 40%.
Nottingham-based Living Online was founded in 2013 and is run by managing director Dimitiri Pappas.
