Long serving fitted furniture specialist Hammonds has launched its first ever TV advert following a record year for sales, surpassing more than £70m.

In a partnership with Leeds-based communications agency Brass, the new advert, which was written and art directed by Mike Black and Jason Mortimer of Brass, and was produced with The Mob and directed by Jon Dennis, officially aired on Channel 4 on 14 September 2016 and is currently on TV screens nationwide.

Hammonds, which is also celebrating its 90th year of trading this month with a party at its brand new store in Hinckley on 22 September 2016, marked its milestone year with a growth of £9m growth in turnover for the year ended 26 June 2015, with sales reaching £74.5m, up by 13.7%.

Hammonds has grown to over 100 stores and concessions nationwide, with the launch of its first ever TV commercial another step into the company’s rich history.

Kirsty Oakes, Hammonds marketing manager commented: “Having recently rebranded, we thought the time was right to bring Hammonds to a wider audience on TV. We have worked with Brass for a number of years, and they have a great understanding of our business, and were our obvious partner.”
