Suffolk-based independent furniture retailer Glasswells has announced that it has completed its restaurant refurbishment at its Bury St. Edmunds store.
Investing £150,000 in extending and revamping its Place to Eat Restaurant, the new conservatory style extension, part of the company’s 70th anniversary celebrations, has added an additional 22 seats, with the extra space allowing a new lay-out with a variety of seating options.
Kevin Robertson, sales director said: “Glasswells has always prided itself on being forward thinking and moving with the times by offering the latest furnishing options for our customers and this is reflected in the store environment.
“The refurbishment has been a major investment and is the start of a rolling program of updating the Bury St Edmunds store. And, whilst the environment in the restaurant has been updated and improved for our customers, our menu and ethos of locally sourced, freshly prepared food remains the same.”
