Hardwood furniture retailer Oak Furniture Land has been named in the Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 league table for a third consecutive year.
Oak Furniture Land continued its climb up the league and broke into the top 100 companies, from a ranking of 242 in 2014, 163 in 2015 and 81 this year.
The table ranks Britain’s private mid-market growth companies with the biggest sales, with the success of Oak Furniture Land one that has been ‘rapid’.
The company increased sales by an average of 42% a year for the past three years, to £239m last year and has become the only company to rank in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 table (the Top Track’s ‘sister’ table) for a fifth time.
Jason Bannister (pictured), founder and managing director of Oak Furniture Land, said: “We are delighted to have been in the Top Track 250 for the last three years.
“It’s a great honour to be included, and seeing ourselves move rapidly up the list just adds to our drive to constantly improve. Let’s hope we can continue to improve our place in forthcoming years!”
Tim Lincoln, partner at Grant Thornton UK LLP, the title sponsor of the league table, added: “I am heartened to see how these businesses are embracing a collaborative approach to drive prosperity throughout the UK and wider society.”
