Hardwood furniture retailer Oak Furniture Land has confirmed it will be opening a second Edinburgh store next month.

Oak Furniture Land will officially open its new 16,000sq ft superstore on 1 October 2016 at the Fort Kinnaird Shopping Centre on New Craighall Road, and has created seven new jobs.

The new Edinburgh showroom will add to its existing presence, with the first being on Straiton Retail Park, Loanhead, and will also include a www.sofastore.com concession, featuring over 75 different sofa over 3,500 colour and size variations.

Alan Tombs, regional manager said: “We’re delighted to be opening our second store in Edinburgh, this will take us to a total of nine stores in Scotland. Our Scottish customers have been loyal to us over the years and we are looking forward to extending our 100% solid hardwood furniture offering to customers in the region and making shopping our furniture ranges more accessible.

“We know when customers shop with us they return time and time again and we are looking forward to serving our Edinburgh customers for many years to come.”

The new opening brings Oak Furniture Land’s portfolio to 74 stores across the UK and follows its most recent – and first - launch in Coventry earlier this month.
