Online mattress and beds retailer Mattressnextday has announced the launch of its new website as it gets set for its first physical store opening later this month.

Mattressnextday officially went live with its new ecommerce platform,, on 22 August 2016 and has seen the fully responsive site already generate an increase in both conversions and average order value.

A company spokesperson said: “Our new website has been received very well by our customers. We have experienced a 25% increase in conversions, and a 15% increase in the average order value.

“We hope this growth continues into Q4 2016 and 2017 when we will be releasing more website functionality to help shoppers find their perfect mattress or bed.”

Mattressnextday highlighted that its new website is an easy-to-use platform, which can be used over multiple devices including mobile phones and tablets, and features a refreshed design, simplified navigation and more product information for users.

New showroom opens on 15 October 2016

With the new website proving to be a success, Mattressnextday will now turn its attentions to its new opening, planned for 15 October 2016 in Herne Bay, Kent, where it has invested £50,000.

Adding to its existing showroom on Lakesview International Business Park in Kent, the retail store will feature beds, mattresses and accessories from well-known brands including Silentnight, Relyon and Sleepeeze, and becomes the first of a string of proposed new stores that will open in the South East region of the UK. No other official locations have yet been confirmed.
