Furniture and flooring specialist ScS has announced the appointment of Elaine Ray to the newly-created role of brand development director to head up its House of Fraser concession business.
ScS, which has almost 100 stores nationwide and operates 28 House of Fraser concessions, has seen a string of directorial appointments this year, with Elaine following the appointments of Kevin Royal as managing director, Marie Liston as corporate services director, and Chris Muir as the group’s new chief financial officer.
Elaine, who joins the business with a wealth of retail experience, has previously worked for independent retailers within the industry including, Alan Ward, Leekes, Fenwicks and Sterling Furniture Group.
David Knight, chief executive – ScS, said: “Elaine brings a wealth of experience to the ScS group, and specifically to the House of Fraser concession side of our business where, along with the management team, she will concentrate on growing and developing its brand, customer awareness and its offering.
