Multi-channel retailer John Lewis has announced that its latest sales week surpassed £100m for the first time this year.
According to its latest weekly sales figures to 29 October 2016, total sales rose by 7.2% at £102.8m, as all three categories reported an increase in revenues.
Within its Home sector, sales grew by 5.5% as Halloween products rocketed by 116.7% and its West Elm collaboration delivering a record week.
John Lewis also saw an uptick in sales within its fashion and electrical sectors, up by 4% and 12.9% respectively.
During the week John Lewis announced its newest collaboration with Play-Doh and was an ‘immediate hit with customers’ as Christmas shopping began to snowball.
