Independent floorcoverings retailer Clover Carpets Ltd has posted a seventh successive year of turnover growth as sales surpassed a record £700,000.
According to Clover Carpets –trading as Oaks Flooring – latest filed accounts on Companies House, total sales for the year ended 30 April 2016 grew by 14.1% to £794,872 from £696,866 in 2015 – an increase of around £98,000.
Gross profit also registered an uptick by 16.9% to £255,417 from £218,684, whilst operating profit rose 15.8% from £101,758 to £117,377.
The family run company reported an overall profit of £94,187, 17.5% up from its recorded profit of £80,974 last year, its third consecutive year-on-year growth, with a final cash balance of £305,313 for the year end.
Oak Flooring, which is owned by Ian Hopson, has been established since 1995 and has its showroom situated in Sevenoaks, Kent.
