Sofa Brands International has confirmed the appointment of two new sales directors at G Plan and Parker Knoll.
Mike Storey, who has been with Parker Knoll for 11 years, has been appointed as a sales director for G Plan, while Chris Everest, formerly of Wade Upholstery, has been appointed as a Mike’s replacement for Parker Knoll and will join the business on 1 August 2016.
Newly appointed group chief executive, Ian Oliver commented: “After 11 very successful years of service at Parker Knoll, Mike Storey is taking on a new challenge as sales director of G Plan. G Plan will benefit immensely from Mike’s tremendous experience in the sector.
“We are delighted to have been able to recruit Chris Everest to replace Mike. Chris brings with him a wealth of experience also meaning he will hit the ground running when he joins on 1st August.”
Ian recently took over from former chief executive Scott Malvenan on 1 July after Scott decided the time was right to retire after leading the group since its formation back in July 2005.
