Bed manufacturer Slumberland has raised over £1,200 for the Woodland Centre Cancer Unit at Hinchingbrooke in Huntingdon by climbing Mount Snowdon.

Members of the Slumberland team, a brand owned by Steinhoff UK Beds, took on the mountain – standing 3,560 feet tall and one of highest in the British Isles, on 4 June 2016 and was accompanied by a mini Slumberland bed.

John Cornhill, healthy and safety advisor at Steinhoff UK Beds, said: “It was a tough day, a great sense of achievement, lots of fun and satisfying knowing we have raised lots of money for a good cause.

“We are already thinking about what to do next year to raise money, but I am sure it will most likely involve a bed.”
