Three major furnishing retailers have signed up for a spot on the Gallagher Retail Park project, which is undergoing a £5m expansion.
Quadrant Estates, the asset manager of Birmingham’s key regional retail park, has announced that Sofology, Oak Furniture Land and Tapi Carpets have all agreed 10-year leases at their respective units.
Sofology has agreed to take on 12,500sq ft premises, while Oak Furniture Land has secured a 10,000sq ft lease, with Tapi Carpets agreeing a 7,685sq ft retail space.
The three retailers are part of eight other businesses that have signed lease agreements on the park, which will see the construction of the expansion begin soon and is scheduled for completion in early Spring 2017.
James Bidwell, Quadrant Estates’ partner, said: “These latest brands to sign further reinforce the appeal of Gallagher Retail Park, and complement the existing line-up of high profile tenants.
“The new tenants will provide even greater vibrancy and vitality to Gallagher Retail Park. Our plans include making substantial improvements to public realm, access, car parking and landscaping of the Park.”
