Global online destination for home furnishings and décor, Wayfair, has announced the appointment of Google vice president of global operations James R. Miller to its board of directors.

James brings his expertise and decades of experience in technology and product innovation to the Wayfair board as the company continues to expand its transformation of the customer shopping experience.

Wayfair also confirmed that it has renewed its global partnership with Habitat for Humanity International. The move, which helps build and rehabilitate affordable homes, enters its fifth year as partners, where Wayfair has contributed almost $1m in funding and donations.
